Midlands Co-operative Society put its hands in its pockets and pulled out - a 19" flat screen television - one of the many splendid prizes for the Mayor and Sheriff's Charity Raffle. During their year in office, The Mayor and Sheriff of Lichfield are working hard to raise money for local charities; The Alzheimer's Society, Singing for the Brain, Lichfield and Burntwood Social Club for the Blind and 9th Lichfield (Saxon Hill) Scout Group. Cllr Janet Eagland commented that she is thrilled with the response from local businesses and would like to thank everyone for their generosity.
