Who, may you ask, is the person behind the witch's hat? It is Market trader Jenny Yates, well known on the Lichfield Saturday Market by fellow traders and customers alike for her attractive display of 'posh' handbags.

Jenny has been standing on the Lichfield Market since 2005 but also works full-time as a Staff Nurse in the Special Care Baby Unit at Good Hope Hospital caring for premature and poorly babies.

On Saturday 1 November Jenny handed over the running of her stall to her mother Trudy while she, and several children from Charnwood Primary School, walked around the City Centre and Market Square handing sweets to children shopping with their families (not a trick just a treat!)

'Visit Lichfield this Christmas' brochures and Market leaflets were also handed out publicising all the events in Lichfield over the Christmas period and the variety, choice and value for money goods on sale on the Market Square on all Market days (Tuesday, Friday and Saturday and the Farmers' Market on the 1st Thursday of the month).

Come along and take a look at what's available, there's something for everyone.
