Hairy Bikers visited Lichfield in July
A visit to Lichfield's ever-popular monthly Farmers' Market had an added
attraction in July when the 'Hairy Bikers' roared into the City on
motorbikes to film part of their new series on the Market Square.
And the Lichfield Farmers' Market will once again be in the 'limelight'
on Thursday 6th August when it plays host to BBC WM's popular presenter
Joanne Malin broadcasting her show 'Mornings with Joanne Malin' live
from the historic Market Square between 09.30 am and 12 noon.

BBC WM's Joanne Malin to broadcast live from Market Square
Joanne will be talking to various representatives from many of
Lichfield's historic sites and tourist attractions as well as to a
number of producers from the Farmers' Market. Why not come along to the
Square, take a look at what's on offer on the Farmers' Market and have a
chat with Joanne Malin, a friendly and welcoming radio presenter, or be
in the background and watch as she broadcasts her live radio show. If
that's not possible just tune in to BBC WM on 95.6FM and enjoy the show.

A tiny tepee painting and craft workshop from Wild Roots
Heather Francis from Wild Roots (organiser of outdoor children's parties
and earthy craft workshops) will also be on site offering an exciting
'hands on' drop in craft workshop for both children and families with
the opportunity to decorate, and purchase, a hand-made children's play
size tepee. Visit her website at www.wildroots.co.uk for more information.
With all this happening on the Market Square, including a tasty and
varied selection of local produce and locally produced food , not
forgetting an excellent choice of hand made Arts and Crafts, it is a day
not to be missed.
