Lichfield City Grants Awarded

Lichfield City Council has awarded almost £29,000 in general grants to local organisations for 2012/13. Grants have been awarded to 44 separate groups to help their work in the City, and cheques were handed out by the Mayor, Janet Eagland, at the City's Annual Town Meeting in the Guildhall on Wednesday 23 May.

"This city benefits enormously from the work of many local organisations and voluntary groups," said Janet Eagland, "and we are delighted to help them in their work by providing some grant funding."
