Proposed Disposal of Land to Staffordshire County Council
Published: 22 April 2026
The City Council will shortly be advertising proposals to dispose of areas of land located at Irving Close and between Grange Lane and Eastern Avenue to Staffordshire County Council in order to facilitate infrastructure improvements. Should the proposed disposal go ahead, the land would become Highway Maintainable at Public Expense (HMPE) and be managed by Staffordshire County Council. The transfer of land is necessary to allow the proposed improvements to go ahead.
Details of the proposals can be found in the report considered by Council at its April meeting.
A copy of the formal notice, as required by law and scheduled for initial publication on 30 April, follows.
