The Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to lead all aspects of operation, collections and development. This is an exciting time to join the Museum as we seek to increase engagement, improve access to our Grade I listed building, and develop our interpretation.
As Museums and Heritage Officer, you will also oversee the Guildhall Old Prison Cells exhibition and contribute to the promotion of Staffordshire’s premier heritage city. You should have experience of working with collections in a museum/heritage setting, possess excellent organisational and communication skills, and convey an enthusiasm for history/literature.
